I have built twelve tower computers over the years and cabling has always been an issue. When SATA drives were first introduced, the monster IDE cable was replaced with the thin, narrow and rigid SATA cable. The drawback to these cables was that they did not have retention clips and the rigidity factor often allowed the cables to become dislodged from the SATA controller or the drive. These OKGear SATA cables have solved both issues! The flexibility allows you to route these cables exactly where they need to go and the retention clips ensure a solid connection. I would recommend these cables to anyone installing or replacing a drive in any computer.
ProsFlexibility, retention clips and configuration options (straight, 90 degree, multiple lengths)
ConsThere is absolutely nothing that I don't like about OKGear SATA cables.
