It prevents spikes in energy caused by storms and electrical power surges and is ideal for safeguarding personal computers, phones/faxes/modems, and other consumer electronics. The CSP604U provides 1200 joules of protection and six surge-protected outlets. Its two USB charge ports (2.1 Amp shared) keep tablets, smartphones, and other rechargeable electronics ready to use. The 4 ft. power cord has a right-angle plug with a 45° off-set. Features of the CSP604U include automatic shutdown, metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology, and an EMI/RFI noise filter. It also has an LED indicator (Protected), keyhole mounting slots, and impact-resistant casing. The CSP604U comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty and a $50,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee. Surge Protection Diverts excess voltage away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to prevent damage. Automatic Shutdown Protects connected electronics with the integrated circuit breaker which automatically switches off in the event of an overload that exceeds the model's ability to suppress the signal. EMI/RFI Noise Filter Maintains clean power for connected equipment by filtering out electromagnetic and radio frequency interference to improve picture and sound quality.
