Good construction, worth it

I suspect the higher price for these is because USB 3.0 is new and there's a lot of demand for it right now, but these cables are definitely worth it. These are not the dinky thin cables like what you get with a phone charger. The cable has that solidness to it you get with quality network and HDMI cables. That does mean the cable is a bit stiff at first, but I find it relaxes well. The cable has significant torsional resistance to it, making it trickier to run, but helping prevent kinks and binds that would destroy the wires. Both connectors engage firmly without feeling like they're binding or damaging the port.
ProsSolid construction, feels durable, firm engagement, has that distinctive feel of a well-made cable.
ConsThicker than you may be used to, so it needs a bit more care in folding/coiling than older USB cables. Comes in any colour you like, as long as it's blue (it is a nice blue, though).
