What you, what you want

This cable is exactly what you, what you want if you want to hook up an eSATA (USB 3.0) portable hard drive to your good old USB 2.0 computer port. It will also hook up to your modern USB3.0 port (see the blue). I recently bought a Western Digital 1TB portable hard drive at Costco and it came with this exact cable ... except that the cable that it came with was only 18 inches long and this one is 36 inches long. The ends are the same (blue represents USB3.0/eSATA) and are retro convertible (works with USB 2.0). The blue 3.0.will plug into the black 2.0, but don't expect anything better that 3mb/s. If you go blue to blue you can get 6 Mb/s (possibly higher). See ... you want this cable.
ProsCoolness. This cable is bad ass. Trust me, you want one.
