Works well to trigger remote strobes
September 23, 2010
One of the areas photographers are scammed (like those of us in most professions, I suppose) is in exorbitantly-priced cables. Many strobe flashes can be triggered with 1/8" cables, and I can confirm that these work well with the industry-dominant PocketWizard radio slaves. Why pay a boatload more at a camera shop when you can buy these? Do be sure and pick the mono cables here, though; stereo cables do not work.
ProsShort and dark, perfect for photography applications.
ConsWould love a 90-degree version to reduce the chance of damage to strobes and to create a smaller footprint.
