8 inch USB 2.0 Type A Male to Micro USB Male Cable

I'm not a fan of stuffing long cables in my pack just in case I need to charge or sync my phone. This cable takes up very little space, but it's just long enough to place the phone on top of a PC or on the desk adjacent to my laptop. Build quality seems excellent.

Charges phone in car without adding a lot of clutter

Cable works great! I bought these to use for a short charging station on my work computer and for a power solution that I wired up on my motorcycle. Cables are exactly as described, short standard A cable to micro USB.

thought that the hole in the micro USB side is small. but its of correct size.

Exactly what I needed for my car's phone dock. It resides right next to the outlet so now I don't have a long cable dangling over my center console.

VERY nicely made! Strong plugs, good bond from cable to plug, heavy sheath on wire. EXCELLENT unit to carry in bag when traveling. Nearly as small as Ziplinq cable and certainly more compact.

HUGE point is this cable is the ONLY unit I have found that can 100% charge my HTC EVO phone battery. It obviously has low internal wire resistance thus enabling the battery to fully charge. I have other cables that either limit to @90% charge or double the charge time.

The cable that comes with the Samsung Intercept (possibly all Samsung phones) is a very lightweight cable and is not very good for data transfer. I could hardly ever connect to my computer with it. It worked for charging but that was all.

The cable that I got from PCH Cables was much more sturdy. You can feel it in the weight and thickness of the cable. The connectors are solid and tight. I have not had any trouble with connecting with my computer for data communication since getting this cable.

I don't know how the longer cables perform, but I assume they are made of the same, sturdy cabling. I would highly recommend the 8 inch cable to anyone who would like to connect their phone to their laptop for charging and data.

Using it on a larger computer box might prove to be less useful since the device might have to hang from the USB connection (again, it's only 8 inches). So, if you mainly plug in this way, then I would say go with a longer cable.

For my usage, however, this cable was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you PCH Cables!
