Great way to move old s-video into a new TV

New TVs don't include s-video connectors much anymore and there are not many alternatives coming from an older Toshiba laptops like a couple we have. This cable does the trick quickly and easily. Yep, someday we'll have HDMI on everything, but until then this cable is the easiest and cheapest solution.Pros:
Manages moving information from s-video to a new TV.Long cable reaches TV and gives enough length for laptop to sit nearby without strain.
Good quality images and sound, even at 720P on a 42-inch LCD panel.
Good quality cable build.
Cons:
Could use a little more length on the end of the cable with the s-video connector so that the 3,5mm stereo connector can make a connection without straining. Could use another couple of inches, although it works now.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I have bought this cable from PCH Cables based on my previous experiences. I like this cable, I recommend it to all the prospective buyers. - I have a dell e1705 laptop and a sony 42 inch tv will these cables let my laptop screen image appear on the tv?
- If your Laptop has S-Video and 3.5mm stereo output, and your TV has the standard Red, White and Yellow input jacks, then it should work. Please keep in mind that S-Video output is not very high quality, and displaying on large TV's usually does not produce great results.
