I have a PlayStation 3 connected to an Acer LCD monitor via HDMI, but the LCD doesn't have any kind of audio output. I also had Boston Acoustics speakers I purchased way back in 1999 that only output to a male headphone plug. This was the only way to connect the "AV Multi Out to RCA cable" to the speaker set's headphone plug. Luckily, it worked! No complaints here, and shipping was reasonably fast.Good Value

- The rca female part...is that the input and the 3.5mm end the output? or is it the other way around?
- Technically, there is no specific input or output, as this is not a directional adapter. Normally, you would use this to simply couple a 3.5mm Stereo headphone style cable with a set of analog right / left cables. The signal could go either way.
