Extension cables worked well for my application.Pros:
Ends were terminated better than most power supply connectors are... plugs fit snugly, but not so tight as to require any wrestling.Cons:
These were the longest ones available at PCH at the time, I would have purchased much longer had they been available.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Many case fan cables are long but not long enough to all be neatly routed to a single chosen spot in the case to make all the connections. This cable solves that problem.It is a bit long for what I needed, 12"" would have been better, but the 14"" was less than half the price of the shorter one.
