This item was exactly as described; arrived in a timely manner and fits my needs precisely. My laptop has two USB ports on the right edge toward the front of the machine which meant connecting a standard cable interfered with using my mouse. This cable eliminates that problem totally.

Worked as expected. It hardly shows on your laptop and if connected to a USB hub.....you can connect several items and hide them neatley in the back of your laptop. Fast shipment with this supplier as well.

I was surprised to find that my new laptop placed its USB ports at the front end of the right edge, exactly where I place my mouse pad (!)

It was only after some serious searching that I found this "goldilocks" right angle cable. It's just long enough to take my USB signals to the back of my laptop and out of the way of my mouse pad, but short enough to create no additional mess.

My laptop's USB ports are also so close together that I couldn't use two of these cables together The only possible improvement would be if the head pivoted just a few degrees (but that would probably make it bulkier) or if the wire exited at a slight up or down angle, or if there were versions at two different heights. But that's highly dependent on the individual need and would be an even more specialized product.

I got this for the USB Input on my Kenwood car stereo, It points down and allows me to hook up a large jump drive loaded with MP3s which I then stuff in a shelf which is right under the stereo. This way the light from the jump drive is not such a distraction at night, and it does not stick out 2 inches. The cable is perfect for this.
